Consultant Platform Agreement

Terms for lawyers who want to be listed in the beghukuk.com directory. The lawyer keeps professional independence; the platform only provides appointment and meeting infrastructure.

1. Parties and definitions

This agreement is between the business below (the “Platform”) and the lawyer applying to be listed (the “Consultant”). The acceptance box on the sign-up form links to this text. The Platform is not a law firm; the Consultant's client is the Consultant's own client, not the Platform's.

2. Application requirements

  • You must be a lawyer registered with a bar association and able to practise. You give your bar name and registration number during the review.
  • The licence and disciplinary information you give must be accurate.
  • An administrator reviews applications; the Platform may approve or reject an application.
  • You tell the Platform at once if your bar registration ends, is suspended or you receive a disciplinary penalty.

3. Profile content and the advertising ban

Your profile contains only descriptive and accurate information: title, bar, practice areas, languages, experience, contact. Complying with Article 55 of the Attorneyship Law and the Turkish Union of Bar Associations' advertising rules is your responsibility.

  • Words such as “the best”, “win rate” or “guaranteed result” cannot be used.
  • Client reviews or thanks cannot be displayed for advertising.
  • Fee-discount campaigns or similar promotion are not allowed.
  • The Platform may remove content that breaks these rules or ask you to correct it.

4. Professional independence and confidentiality

The Platform does not interfere with your professional decisions or your relationship with your client. The duty of confidentiality under Article 36 of the Attorneyship Law is yours. Meetings are not recorded; do not upload client information to the Platform.

5. Fees

  • A lawyer's fee cannot be set below the Minimum Fee Tariff (Attorneyship Law Art. 164). The fee agreement is made in writing between you and your client (Art. 163).

Taking a share of a lawyer's fee or paying for referrals needs review under professional rules. This model does not take effect, and online payment does not open, until a lawyer has approved it.

6. Appointment duties

  • You approve or decline requests within a reasonable time; on approval you state the date, duration and fee.
  • You attend approved meetings on time; if you must cancel, you inform the client and the Platform.
  • An approved appointment that is not paid within 72 hours expires.
  • After the meeting you mark the appointment as completed.

7. Personal data

For platform data the Platform is the data controller. You use appointment data from the Platform only for the matter concerned; in the meeting and file you act as a separate data controller and give your own privacy notice. Details: Privacy Notice.

8. Intellectual property and portfolio

You keep the rights to the photo, CV and portfolio content you upload. You give the Platform a simple, non-transferable licence to display them on the Platform. You do not upload documents containing client information.

9. Suspension and termination

Either party may end the agreement by notice. The Platform may suspend your profile for breach of the rules or a bar registration problem. Your duties for ongoing appointments continue.

10. Liability

You alone are responsible for the legal service you give. The Platform is responsible only for the infrastructure service. Liability for intent and gross negligence (Turkish Code of Obligations Art. 115) is reserved.

11. Changes, governing law and jurisdiction

Important changes are announced by e-mail. Turkish law applies; because the relationship is professional, consumer rules do not apply. The Istanbul Anadolu courts and enforcement offices have jurisdiction. Version 2026.10.30-1.
